“We are building a differentiated system of incentives for enterprise in the Arctic”, said First Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic Alexander Krutikov. “It consists of several modules, namely: major industrial projects with long-term incentives, small and medium-sized enterprise with their own incentives, insurance premiums, non-fiscal incentives and additional opportunities for business, and a free economic zone in the Arctic. These incentives are supplemented by government initiatives on low-interest financing for enterprise and subsidised interest rates”.
