The 8th Teriberka Arctic Festival took place on 15–16 July in Murmansk Region as part of the plan for the events of Russia’s chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021–2023, which is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
The festival seeks to unlock the tourism potential of the small territories located in Russia’s Arctic zone, develop event tourism in this region, and promote local products and cuisine. This year’s festival featured special areas for music, art, food, sport, and shopping.
Visitors were given the opportunity to send a commemorative postcard from Teriberka, apply for a polar explorer’s passport, take part in a trail run, and so much more. The free workshops acquainted visitors with how to paint on a shopping bag and create decorative souvenirs like pictures, badges, and magnets for their home interiors and more.
