Investment Portal of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation
4th Arctic Cultural Forum took place in Salekhard on 13–15 February as part of the plan for the events of Russia’s chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021–2023, which is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
The participants discussed the development of cultural and leisure institutions and the creation of centres to attract the public based on such institutions, evaluated prospects for promoting handicrafts, and discussed growth points for the creative economy. In addition, librarians explored the opportunities of digital technologies and their resources for work with visitors.
More than 500 people from 16 Russian regions took part in the event, including representatives of the federal and regional authorities, cultural institutions, non-profit organizations, public figures, and entrepreneurs.
