Investment Portal of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation
14th Northern Character International Film Festival took place on 14–20 November in Murmansk as part of the plan for the main events of Russia’s chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021–2023, which is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
The film competition featured 95 entries from six countries: Russia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Sweden. The film festival’s panel of judges included representatives of Sweden, Armenia, Serbia, Russia and was chaired by Belarusian Union of Cinematographers member Galina Adamovich.
The film forum “Russian Cinema. The Way to the Regional Audience” was also organized those days. Its participants discussed the promotion of films shot in the Russian regions.
