Investment Portal of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation
The Conference on Health Initiatives for Arctic Inhabitants took place in Arkhangelsk on 1-3 June as part of main events being organized by the Roscongress Foundation for Russia’s chairmanship of the Arctic Council in 2021–2023.
The event participants, which included scientists and medical practitioners, discussed prospects for the healthcare development in the Arctic, biosecurity in this region and problems related to climate change. The conference also included a roundtable of the Arctic Medicine consortium and a discussion of collaboration on joint research among educational and scientific organizations as well as industrial partners.
