The participants held an active discussion regarding the development of technologies for the manufacture of low-temperature alloys for icebreaking ships.

The meeting identified the promising tasks for the design and operation of offshore fields, the construction of offshore facilities and wells on the shelf. The experts noted that today a colossal resource base is located on the territory of the continental shelf, and Russian companies have high scientific potential.

The second day also included thematic roundtable discussions, special events on the youth track and technical seminars.

The Conference for the Arctic Ocean Development is held under the Chairmanship of the Russian Federation in the Arctic Council in 2021–2023, its operator being the Roscongress Foundation.
